Education Committee
The Education Committee  shall assume responsibility for the continuing education programs at all meetings of the Society, including but not limited to identifying relevant pharmacy topics, securing speakers, formulating and dispersing agendas in a timely fashion, and corresponding with the Board as necessary.  The Committee will also provide oversight on all educational programming to members, including student programming.

Professional Affairs Committee
The Professional Affairs Committee shall serve as liaison to any professional pharmacy groups and any special projects relating to the profession of pharmacy.  The Professional Affairs Committee has responsibilities of disseminating information to membership about pharmacy services and rational drug use, facilitating communications among pharmacists, and other components of the health care industry and the public.  

Membership Committee

The Membership Committee shall assume the responsibility of maintaining and promoting membership in the Society.  The Committee is responsible for planning and conducting membership campaigns and contacting prospective members and former members to encourage their membership in the Society.  The Membership Committee will be responsible for maintaining a communication plan for members.

Legislative and Regulatory Affairs Committee
The Legislative and Regulatory Affairs Committee is responsible for studying, reviewing, and commenting on legislation and regulations either pending or active, which affect the practice of pharmacy.  The Committee shall monitor the development of new legislation, both federal and state, and disseminate this information to the membership.  The Committee will be responsible for reporting Board of Pharmacy and its committee actions to the SCSHP Board. The Legislative and Regulatory Affairs Committee will recommend the nomination of SCSHP members annually to serve on Board of Pharmacy Committees.

Nominations and Awards Committee
The Nominations and Awards Committee is responsible for reaching out to the SCSHP membership, and  working with Regional Board Members to develop a slate of interested and qualified candidates to be presented to the Board for review for annual Officer and Board positions.  The Board will have final approval of the candidates, and may request nominees be deleted or added to the slate of potential candidates. The Committee also oversees the process of promoting SCSHP awards to members and presents to the Board the award recipients after a vote of the Committee.
