SCSHP Research and Education Foundation

The SCSHP Board is very pleased to announce the creation of the SCSHP Research and Education Foundation. The mission and purpose of the Foundation is to promote, support and fund projects within the state of South Carolina that benefit the profession of pharmacy and the patients we serve. We are particularly excited to support pharmacy and technician student activities and mentoring programs that focus on leadership within the profession. SCSHP has refocused its attention over the past year and is functioning in a proactive manner in regards to legislation and regulation within our state, including working with legislators and lobbyists, the Pharmacy Association and committee membership appointments with the Board of Pharmacy. The Foundation work will continue to develop leaders within health-system pharmacy to ensure the protection and promotion of our profession.

 

The SCSHP Foundation is applying for recognition as a not-for-profit, 501c(3) organization and your gifts will be tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. How can you get involved? Please consider a tax deductible gift of cash, stock, real-estate, etc. Your pledge can be made over a period of years if that is more convenient. You can also remember the SCSHP Foundation in your estate planning. In order for the Foundation to be successful it relies on the generosity and support of our members, corporations and grants.
